Tuesday, September 23, 2014 - 2:02 PM - by Ken Casellas

Swan Districts produced a superior brand of team football and exerted greater pressure to emerge triumphant over Claremont in the grand final at Subiaco Oval on Sunday morning when the Tigers failed to take full advantage of the wind in the first and third quarters and were defeated by 20 points.

Emerging as a wonderful shining light in a losing cause was the youngest player on the ground, Claremont’s highly-talented 16-year-old Sam Petrevski-Seton, who delighted the sparse crowd with his dazzling skills in yet another wonderful display which reinforced his prospects of becoming a league star for Claremont and a champion in the AFL competition.

Dear Claremont member,

I am writing to you as a member and supporter of the Claremont Football Club, to seek your help in an important fundraising project.

Wounded Tigers Stand Tall | Colts Preliminary Final Match Report

Tuesday, September 16, 2014 - 1:26 PM - by Ken Casellas

Dedicated defenders Harry McCracken and Matt Palfrey shrugged off leg injuries and emerged as heroes in Claremont’s thrilling one-point triumph over South Fremantle in a tense, hard-fought preliminary final at Leederville Oval on Sunday morning.

Claremont led throughout the contest and held on grimly to deny the Bulldogs the opportunity to appear in the grand final for the fourth year in a row.

Magnificent individual efforts by McCracken and Palfrey when the game was hanging in the balance were extremely significant contributions to the victory which guaranteed the Tigers a spot in the grand final against the high-flying Swan Districts side at Subiaco Oval next Sunday morning.
