Round 12 Preview Claremont vs. Perth

Wednesday, June 10, 2015 - 10:53 AM by Dan Scamozzi

Claremont will be looking to continue their stellar mid-season form when they face Perth at Lathlain Park on Sunday.

The Tigers are fresh off a bye in round 11, and have recorded four consecutive wins that sees the team just two wins away from second position with one game in hand.

The Demons meanwhile, have recorded just the one win for the season, however, that did come against the Tigers in round five.

Oliver Tate has been a revelation since joining Claremont from North Ballarat, and will be a strong chance to return after being sidelined through injury for the win against Peel Thunder in round 10.

2011 Premiership and Simpson Medal winner Beau Maister is set to line up in his 100th game for the club, however, Aaron Holt will miss the match with a toe injury.

The Tigers have kicked 47 goals and conceded just 26 during their four-match winning run, with the team hitting a purple patch on the back of returning to basics and an evenness throughout the side.

The club encourages all fans to attend the game, as the Tigers look to continue their winning run and march up the ladder.

Bounce down is at 2.40pm.
