A patchy performance from Claremont’s Reserves saw the Tigers suffer a 28-point defeat against East Fremantle in their pre-season game at New Choice Homes Park.

In a game consisting of 25-minute quarters, the Sharks overpowered the Tigers on their way to a 15.8 (98) to 11.4 (70) win, with powerful forward Nic Bonomelli kicking seven goals.

Jim Clarko, a dedicated Claremont supporter and benefactor, died on Tuesday at the age of 87.

He made a valuable contribution to the club, serving as a vice-patron for 22 years, from 1997 to 2018.
