A familiar face has returned to Tigerland, with the Claremont Football Club announcing the appointment of Ashley Prescott as League coach for the next three seasons.

Powerful forward Alec Waterman capped off a stellar 2020 season when he won the prestigious E.B. Cook Medal as Claremont’s fairest-and-best player at a glamorous event at Revo Fitness Stadium.

Claremont Reserves’ strong second half of the season came to a disappointing end in the grand final at Fremantle Community Bank Oval on Sunday, with the Tigers suffering a 29-point defeat against East Perth.
The Tigers went goalless in the first half and never hit their straps as the Royals prevailed 9.12 (66) to 5.7 (37) in fine conditions.

The mighty Claremont Football Club is set for a big day at Fremantle Community Bank Oval on Sunday, with the Reserves, Colts and League teams all featuring in the 2020 WAFL grand finals.

Colin Tully, who delighted Claremont fans in the early 1970s with his dashing play in the centre, has died in Victoria at the age of 71.
