GRAND FINAL PREVIEW
BY DAN SCAMOZZI
The mighty Claremont Football Club is set for a big day at Fremantle Community Bank Oval on Sunday, with the Reserves, Colts and League teams all featuring in the 2020 WAFL grand finals.
The Tigers won the 2020 Rodriguez Shield and were the only club to have all three grades qualify for the finals.
Claremont face South Fremantle, who they defeated in the second semifinal, in the League grand final and will be aiming to win their first premiership since 2012.
Key forward Anton Hamp and defender Dylan Smallwood will aim to regain selection after sustaining respective knee and hamstring injuries back in round seven.
Meanwhile, Claremont’s Reserves, who defeated Subiaco in the preliminary final, face East Perth, while Claremont’s Colts, who defeated Subiaco in the second semifinal, will be aiming for consecutive premierships when they again face the Lions.
Claremont has had terrific support during an unprecedented 2020 season, with the club again calling on the Tiger Army to get behind all three grades and cheer the Tigers to victory.
