A fierce contest is set to unfold when the mighty Claremont Tigers face South Fremantle in the second semifinal at Fremantle Community Bank Oval on Sunday afternoon in week one of the 2020 Optus WAFL Finals Series.

Clocking up 150 games of AFL at a Senior club is an impressive achievement for any athlete. Throw in the shorter seasons of women’s football and it’s nothing short of incredible that Amanda Robertson has hit this milestone this year during the Preliminary Final at David Grays Arena on Sunday the 13^th of September 2020. Claremont’s Reserves secured a place in the finals after defeating West Perth by six points at Revo Fitness Stadium.

A five-goals-to-none second term set up the 11.4 (70) to 10.4 (64) win and saw the Tigers rise to third position on the ladder after their third consecutive victory.

Claremont rose to second position on the ladder and secured a place in the finals after outplaying and defeating West Perth by 31 points at a heaving Revo Fitness Stadium.

Greater endeavour, superior pressure, an appetite for the contest and a potent forward line were all key ingredients as the Tigers prevailed 10.12 (72) to 5.11 (41) and recorded consecutive wins in the process.
