Claremont’s Reserves defeated East Perth by 18 points in the grand final at Domain Stadium last Sunday to secure their first premiership since 2012.

Claremont’s Colts and Reserves each face East Perth in grand finals at Patersons Stadium on Sunday, with the Colts looking to go back-to-back and the Reserves searching for their first premiership since 2012.

McQueen wins JJ Leonard Medal

Claremont Colts coach Ross McQueen won the JJ Leonard Medal for WAFL Coach of the Year at Monday night’s Sandover Medal.

McQueen has been involved with the club in a variety of roles, and will coach the Colts in their fourth consecutive grand final when they meet East Perth on Sunday.

The team will be looking to go back-to-back after demolishing Swan Districts last year.

Bolton Crowned 2016 Sandover Medallist

Claremont midfielder Jye Bolton continued his outstanding debut season in the WAFL by winning the 2016 Sandover Medal with 49 votes as the competitions fairest and best player at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on Monday night.

“It’s a great honour to win such a prestigious award,” Bolton told the audience.
