Midfielder Jake Murphy will lead Claremont in 2014 after being announced as the club's new captain.
Murphy, replaces the retired Andrew Browne and is looking forward to the challenge ahead.
“It’s a bit of a dream come true,” Murphy said.
“I’ve always aspired to be a leader or captain for the footy club. I’ve got big shoes to fill, but it’s something I’m excited about.”

The recently completed CFC pre-season camp marked the transition point for players and coaches between our pre-season training phase and the point at which much of its physical and strategic gains are put into practice.

After three seasons and eight games with St Kilda, Tom Ledger has returned to Claremont.
The former Saint says he is now focusing on playing solid football in the WAFL.

Matt Orzel has returned to Claremont, after two seasons with Peel Thunder.
After originally playing 99 games with the Tigers, Orzel left the club at the end of 2011, in search of more playing time.

Brisbane premiership player and former Fremantle Docker Des Headland has joined Claremont as a midfield coach for 2014.
Headland didn’t have to think twice once contact was made by the Tigers.
“Dean Horsington (Football Operations Manager) called me to see if I wanted to get involved and just get myself back in to footy,” Headland said.
"I always wanted to be on the coaching side of things and mentor some kids who are coming through.”

FIXTURES have been finalised for the 2014 AAMI WAFL Premiership Season in consultation with the nine WAFL clubs.
Round 1 will kick off on Saturday, March 22 and the Grand Final will be played on Sunday, September 21.
The season will feature one less round than last year, with the split round being dropped for a 23 round total. Each club will play 10 home games, 10 away games and have three byes.
