After an extensive search the Claremont Football Club has named Michael Broadbridge as the new head coach after the coaching committee’s recommendation of Broadbridge was fully endorsed at a board meeting today.

Moloney, Captain Of The Club's Greatest Team

Four Sandover medallists, one Brownlow medallist, one Tassie medallist and seven Simpson medallists have been chosen in the Claremont Football Club’s Greatest Ever Team announced at the Last Drinks Function at Claremont Oval.

All 22 footballers chosen in the star-studded line-up represented Western Australia with distinction and between them these players have won the club’s fairest-and-best award 36 times. They also won a further 13 fairest-and-best awards with other clubs.

McQueen To Coach The Colts

Ross McQueen will achieve a long-held ambition to coach the Claremont Colts side when he takes over the preparation of the club’s colts squad for pre-season training next month.


He was appointed the coach of the colts this week to replace Ben Dyer, who has been recruited by North Melbourne as the club’s development manager.

A celebrity game of AFL 9s will headline activities at Claremont Oval for this Saturday's "Calling Last Drinks" Event, with teams featuring Premier Colin Barnett, Sport Minister Terry Waldron, Brownlow Medalist Graham Moss, CFC Games Record Holder Darrell Panizza and a host of other club legends playing at 3.45pm.

WA Premier Colin Barnett To Relive Football Glories

West Australian Premier Colin Barnett will swap political footballs for real ones next weekend, when he relives former glories to take part in a legends game for his beloved Claremont Tigers.

Marc Webb Joins Fremantle Coaching Team

Former Claremont coach Marc Webb is to join the Fremantle Dockers as a development coach.

The 34-year-old, who coached the Tigers to the 2012 WAFL premiership, will begin his duties at Fremantle on a full-time basis from 13 November.
