Turnovers galore, skill errors and wrong options. That, in a nutshell, was the story of Claremont’s highly disappointing performance in the round-13 match at the Showgrounds on Saturday morning when the game was played in ideal conditions under a warming winter sun and pleasant blue skies.
Ill-discipline crept into Claremont’s play, particularly in the final quarter when the Tigers squandered opportunities and East Perth turned a 16-point deficit at three-quarter time into a 15-point victory.

Claremont paid dearly for an inexplicable first-half lapse against East Perth at the Showground on Saturday before fighting back determinedly to lose by just 16 points.
The second-half display from the tenacious Tigers was full of merit and underlined the continuing improvement in the side.

The Tigers are coming off a bye in round 12, while the Royals have hit their straps following a 61-point drubbing of the Bulldogs last Saturday.
The Tigers will be after a much-improved performance after the Royals won the corresponding fixture by 80 points back in round eight.
