Tigers Master Class

Monday, July 7, 2014 - 3:32 PM

The Tigers Master class is an inaugural Football Development Program aimed at identifying talented players from the Claremont district. Based on the AFL draft combine, this program will be useful in providing raw data to both the individual and the football club on the important skills and physical standards required to play Australian Rules football.

Initially this program is aimed at players turning 13 this calendar year (players born in 2001) with a view to expanding the testing component to other age groups in the future. Players will be expected to complete every element of the testing with individual assessments to include;

  • Sprint Speed
  • Agility
  • Vertical Leap
  • ‘Nathan Buckley’ Kicking test
  • ‘Mathew Lloyd’ Clean hands test
  • Beep Test (shuttle run)

All testing will be conducted by qualified Strength & Conditioning staff at the University of WA.

Each player will receive an information pack to take away as well as;

  • CFC Tigers Academy shirt
