Claremont Colts v Kimberley Spirit
The Claremont Colts will travel to the Kimberley Region this March Long-Weekend to visit the community of Warmun and play a competitive match against the Kimberley Spirit in Kununurra.
Now in its 5th year, the KRSP Cup gives our Metro and Great Southern Colts Players the opportunity to visit the remote Kimberley region and learn more about the area which our Kimberley zoned players call home.
Outstanding midfielder Jake Murphy, dogged by leg injuries in recent seasons, will miss Claremont’s early matches as he recovers from surgery to his right Achilles tendon.
He has taken part in much of the club’s pre-season training program, but on a restricted basis. However, he continued to be troubled by his damaged Achilles and underwent an operation early last week.

Dynamic forward Ian Richardson, a veteran of 186 league matches, has been appointed captain of Claremont for the 2018 season.

Claremont coach Darren Harris is happy with the Tigers’ pre-season and confident the team can be “stronger for longer” in 2018.
