The Claremont Football Club is aware of the allegations of player abuse from a private residence surrounding Claremont Oval on Saturday 18th May. We have spoken to the tenant in question about what we consider appropriate barracking and expressed our Club’s position on verbal exchanges with players on the field.  We have communicated this course of action to the Peel Football Club and they are satisfied to put the matter to rest.

Claremont’s Reserves recorded their fourth consecutive win after scraping past Perth by five points in a strange and scrappy game at Lathlain Park in round five.

The 10.9 (69) to 9.10 (64) triumph was far from straightforward, with both teams guilty of turnovers and poor decision-making.
