WA Football greats were last night inducted to the Australian Football Hall of Fame to recognise their stellar contribution to the game.
The late Ron Evans (West Perth and WA State player),1985 Brownlow Medallist Brad Hardie (South Fremantle and WA State player) and Ken Hunter (Claremont and WA State player) were inducted along with former West Coast Eagles premiership coach Michael Malthouse, St Kilda's Trevor Barker and South Australian Jim Deane.
The Australian Football Hall of Fame was established in 1996 and serves to recognise players, coaches, umpires, administrators, and media representatives who have made an outstanding contribution to Australian football.

A disappointing and scoreless second quarter cost Claremont dearly against Subiaco in glorious conditions at Claremont Oval in round seven, with the Tigers suffering a frustrating 24-point defeat to the Lions.
