Claremont’s Reserves suffered a disappointing six-point defeat against Swan Districts at Steel Blue Oval in round 21, dropping the Tigers to third position on the ladder after the completion of the home-and-away season.

Despite a dominant but inaccurate (3.6) opening term which resulted in an 18-point lead at quarter-time, a drop-off in work rate and blue-collar effort from the Tigers resulted in a 14.7 (91) to 12.13 (85) defeat in glorious conditions.
