Round 6 Preview Claremont vs. Peel Thunder
Claremont travels to Bendigo Bank Stadium in round six to face a red-hot Peel Thunder side who have won their past three games.
The Tigers are still searching for their first win this season, and will be hoping to register the four points in ANZAC round.
The Tigers are coming off a disappointing nine-point loss to Perth, while the Thunder claimed a 23-point win over East Perth in round five.
Captain Jake Murphy will push for selection having missed the past two games with an ankle injury, while Corey Yeo, Mark Seaby and Tom Swift all lined up for the Reserves last weekend.
Toby Plant has been ruled out after suffering concussion in the loss to Perth, while Beau Maister has had his appeal against a four-match ban dismissed by the WAFL tribunal and will miss a further three games.
Claremont have enjoyed a healthy record against Peel in recent seasons – winning eight of the previous 10 clashes, however, the Thunder did win the corresponding fixture at this venue last season.
The Claremont Football Club encourages all members and fans to attend the game, as both clubs pay tribute to those who served in battle.
Bounce down is at 2.15pm on Sunday.
