Round 5 Preview Claremont vs. Perth
Claremont welcome Perth to the Show Grounds in round five as the team seeks its first win for the season.
In what will be the Tigers’ first home game, the team will be looking to replicate the strong form it displayed at the venue in 2014.
With the Tigers and Demons winless so far, a cracking contest is expected as both sides look for a morale-boosting win.
The Tigers showed improved signs despite their three-point loss to East Fremantle in round four, and will be looking to put in a four-quarter performance.
The Demons also suffered a narrow loss at the weekend, despite leading at all three breaks as Peel Thunder handed them a five-point defeat.
The Tigers will be looking to recall captain Jake Murphy after he missed the loss to the Sharks with an ankle injury, while Corey Yeo, Mark Seaby and Tom Swift will all push their claims for selection.
Haydn Busher, Ryan Lim and Steven Edwards were all outstanding for the Reserves in round four, and will ensure competition for spots remains a pleasant dilemma for Michael Broadbridge and the coaching staff.
Reliable and evergreen defender Brandon Franz is set to play his 100th game for the club.
The Claremont Football Club encourages all members and fans to attend the game.
Bounce down is at 2.15pm.
