Country Zoned Colts Players Seeking Accommodation

Thursday, December 19, 2013 - 1:58 PM

The beginning of each new season brings with it an exciting opportunity for a select number of our young and talented country zoned players both from the Great Southern and the Kimberley respectively.

These youngsters face multiple challenges when making the decision to relocate to the city with the aim of representing the CFC Colts Squad. Some of these challenges include finding a source of income, adjusting to the travel demands of the city and also finding accommodation.

Most relocating players have just finished school and leaving home to relocate to the city can be an extremely hard transition to make, not only for the players but for the parents who deserve peace of mind when sending their sons to the city to represent the club.

The Claremont Football Club would like to reach out to all CFC Members and Patrons who may have the ability to host one or more of these players for the 2014 season.

If you have had kids move out recently, have a spare room and are seeking some extra income or just feel like your house is a little bare, you may be the ideal candidate to host one of these young aspiring footballers.

Players are more than willing to negotiate board prices which may include rent, food and utilities (power, water, internet etc). Please remember that these boys are fresh out of school and will not be able to afford a fortune, but they are willing to “pull their weight”.

If you feel as though your current situation allows you to and you are willing to host a player for the 2014 season please contact CFC Football Operations Officer Warren Parker on 0416 568 271 to discuss further.

Candidates will be required to go through an interview process with the parents of the players to ensure that the arrangement would be a good fit for both parties.

We sincerely hope that all members consider hosting a country zoned player as we want nothing more than to have these players here in the city, happy, and representing the great Claremont Football Club
