TOP-two WAFL teams Claremont and West Perth escaped with three-point thrilling wins in Round 15 action on Saturday while Perth remained fourth with another nail-biting win and East Perth steadied in third with the big victory of the day.
While three of the four matches on Saturday afternoon were all thrillers, the results could very well have decided the top-four places with the teams already on track for a finals berth ending up winning to open up the gap further on the chasing pack.
Claremont further consolidated top spot with a 15.8 (98) to 13.17 (95) victory over East Fremantle in Kununurra in a rematch of last year's grand final.
