Notice of CFC Annual General Meeting 2024

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Members are advised that the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will be held in the Graham Moss Room, at Claremont FootballClub, 3 Davies Road, Claremont 6010 on Thursday 12th December 2024 commencing at 6.00pm

2024 NOMINATIONS FOR ELECTION OF OFFICE BEARERS

In accordance with the Claremont Football Club Constitution and Rules, nominations are hereby called for the following positions:

• 3 x Directors (2-year term)

The retiring persons are:

• Brian Beresford (eligible for re-election)

• Jeremy Sims (eligible for re-election)

• Rachel Asquith (eligible for re-election)

Nomination Forms are available from the Claremont Football Club Office by phoning 08 9384 9200 or emailing darcy.coffey@claremonttigers.com

Nominations must be made on the approved Nomination Form and signed by theNominee, Proposer and Seconder, all of whom shall be current financial members.

Nomination forms must be lodged at the Club office at: 3 Davies Road, Claremont 6010 no later than 5.00pm on Wednesday 20th November 2024.
 

Life Membership

Aside from the criteria for Players, as per item 8.7.1 of the Club Constitution, Life Membership may be granted to any Member for specially meritorious service to the Club of not less than ten (10) years, upon recommendation by the Board and confirmed by a Special Resolution of Members present at an AGM. The awarding of Life Memberships shall be limited to two (2) per year excluding Players who are deemed to be elected as LifeMembers.

Merit Awards

As per item 28.1 of the Club Constitution, the Board may select in each year such person or persons as the Board thinks fit to receive a Merit Award. A Merit Award shall be awarded for special services and assistance rendered to the Club by the recipient.
