ROUND 2 PREVIEW: CLAREMONT V SWAN DISTRICTS

Thursday, July 23, 2020 - 10:05 AM

Claremont host traditional rivals Swan Districts at Revo Fitness Stadium in their first home game of the season on Saturday afternoon, with the mighty Tigers aiming for consecutive wins.

After their brilliant win against reigning premiers Subiaco in round one, the Tigers will aim to reproduce a similar performance in front of their passionate fans at Tigerland.

Dec Hardisty, who suffered a knee injury in the first half against the Lions before moving from defence to the forward line and kicking four goals after half-time, will need to prove his fitness, while midfielder Dec Mountford (concussion) is set to return for his first game of the season.

Defender Ryan Nyhuis, who starred against the Lions in his first game for the Tigers, will play his 50th game.

The Claremont Football Club encourages members and fans to attend the game and cheer on the mighty Tigers.

Entry is FREE for kids under 16.
