2020 WAFL SEASON POSTPONED

Monday, March 16, 2020 - 5:33 PM

Following information and advice provided by the AFL and State peak football bodies, the WAFL season will be postponed until 31 May.

In addition to this the Claremont Football Club will be implementing the following measures for the benefit of our playing group, coaches, staff, members and the general community.

As of today, we are putting the following in place until 31 May;
- Claremont Football Club and our function rooms will not be open to the public
- Many of our staff will be working remotely where possible – all of which are still contactable by phone and email
- Limited face to face meetings
- No functions will be hosted in the Claremont on the Park Function Centre
- Tiger Bar will be closed.

These measures are being put in place to help limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus and keep the people within our club and community safe. We will be doing everything possible to ensure that disruptions to our day-to-day operations are minimised and during this enforced break we now shift our focus to when players can return to clubs and resume the 2020 season.

These are certainly unprecedented times and in this ever changing landscape we don’t have all the answers right now. If we can continue to count on your loyalty and patience during this tough time, the club will come through. As more information is made available, we will be communicating through the website and social media. Thanks for your ongoing support.
