Round 16 Preview: Claremont v Perth
By Dan Scamozzi
Second-placed Claremont host fourth-placed Perth in a crucial match at Claremont Oval on Saturday afternoon, with the Tigers aiming to return to the winners’ list.
The Tigers had their second and final bye of the home-and-away season last weekend and will be aiming for their 10th win.
The versatile Anton Hamp (ankle), who was injured in the final term in round 14, is unavailable for selection.
The Tigers and Demons will be playing for the annual Pyke Cup, named in honour of Frank, who played in Perth’s 1966 premiership, and Don, who played in premierships with Claremont in 1987 and 1996 and was also senior coach from 1999 to 2000.
Members and supporters are encouraged to attend the game and support the mighty Tigers.
Entry is FREE for kids under 16.
