Elimination Final Preview Claremont vs. East Perth
By Daniel Scamozzi
Claremont host East Perth in the elimination final at Claremont Oval in week one of the 2018 TABtouch WAFL Finals Series on Sunday afternoon, with the Tigers aiming to continue their momentum and record their fourth consecutive win.
The Tigers secured fourth position on the ladder after wins against Perth, Peel Thunder and Swan Districts to finish the home-and-away season, and will be aiming to defeat the Royals for the third time in 2018.
Captain Ian Richardson will lead the team after his striking report in the win against Swans was dismissed, while co-vice-captain and champion midfielder Kane Mitchell will play his 100th game.
Meanwhile, Claremont’s Reserves face East Perth in the qualifying final at Claremont Oval.
The club encourages the Tiger Army to attend both games and support the mighty Tigers.
