Round 17 Preview Claremont vs. Subiaco

Friday, July 27, 2018 - 10:12 AM

By Daniel Scamozzi

Claremont host Subiaco at Claremont Oval on Saturday afternoon for the first time since 2013, with the Tigers aiming to deliver the Lions their first defeat of the season and record consecutive wins.

Midfielder Jared Hardisty, who has laid 26 tackles in the past two games and more than 100 for the season and sets the tone with his fierce attack on the contest, will play his 50th game.

This weekend some of the club’s senior players will be raising vital funds for cancer awareness and research.

The boys will be participating in the MACA Ride to Conquer Cancer on October 13 – 14, with all proceeds going towards the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.

Donation boxes will be located at the entry gates and bar during the League match. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
