Round 7 Preview Claremont vs. Perth

Wednesday, May 16, 2018 - 4:44 PM

Claremont host Perth in a must-win clash at Claremont Oval on Saturday afternoon, with the Tigers aiming to end a three-game losing streak and record their second win of the season.

Both teams enter the clash with 1-4 records and sit two wins outside the top five, with the Tigers having not played at the venue since defeating East Fremantle in round three.

Keifer Yu and Oliver Eastland will aim to prove their fitness after missing the loss to Peel Thunder through concussion, along with Fraser Gilbert, who has been sidelined since round four with an oblique tear.

The Tigers will wear black armbands in memory of dual premiership player and former captain Tony Beers, and former assistant coach Wayne Orsi, who both passed away recently.

The club encourages the Tiger army to attend the game and cheer the team to victory.

There will be a 'Kids Colouring-in Station' and a competition will be running with some exciting prizes to win.

Entry is FREE for children 15 and under.
