Claremont FC History Project
Claremont FC History
Claremont Football Club has received a grant from Lottery-west for the digitising of the History of the Claremont FC from 1926 to 2016.
This project is being completed by the CFC Dads Army Crew and is expected to be finished by the first home game on the 14th of April.
The finished project will be on display on the website and on a touch screen kiosk in the ‘Hall of Fame’ Level 1 of The Claremont Football Club.

In 1951 Claremont’s Captain-Coach was recognised as one of the finest centres the state has produced.
He commenced his football career with Boulder City in under-age games in 1943 and played again with that team in 1947 after army service.
He transferred to Claremont in 1948. In his greatest season in 1949, he won both the Claremont fairest and best award and the Sandover Medal and represented W.A for the first time.
The following year, 1950 he won the Simpson Medal as fairest and best player for W.A at the Brisbane Carnival and was a State Representative again in 1951 and 1952.
