Round 23 Preview Claremont v West Perth

It’s a simple equation when seventh-placed Claremont host sixth-placed West Perth at Claremont Oval in the final round of the home-and-away season on Saturday.

Win, and the Tigers are still a chance of finishing in fifth position and qualifying for finals, providing Subiaco defeat fifth-placed East Perth.

The Tigers are currently one win and 3.06% outside the top five, while the Falcons will also be aiming to keep their finals chances alive.

The Tigers will enter the game full of confidence after defeating Swans by 24 points in round 22, and aim to record consecutive wins for the first time since rounds 13-14.

The Tigers and Falcons met at the same venue back in round 14, with Claremont prevailing by two points in a game decided after the final siren.
