Beeck Suffers Serious Knee Injury
By Dan Scamozzi
Claremont’s Jack Beeck is set to be sidelined for the 2017 season after damaging the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee at training last week.
The popular Tiger, 21, suffered the cruel injury whilst in a marking contest and is set to undergo a full knee reconstruction later this week.
A fierce competitor at training and on the field, Beeck is highly respected at the club and has played 31 League games since debuting in Round Six, 2015.
Capable of playing in defence or further up the field, Beeck made an appearance at training two days after suffering the injury and had already been icing his knee to reduce the swelling.
The club wishes Jack all the best with his surgery and recovery.
