The Claremont Football Club is entering one of the most exciting and challenging periods of its proud 90 year history as it transitions into a new $16.5 m building located at its traditional Claremont Oval home in 2017.

With the long term sustainability of its off field performance assured and a nationally acclaimed Talent Academy Pathway in place the Club is now seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Senior Coach to drive its on field performance in 2017 and beyond.

Position Summary

This part-time role presents unique opportunities for a highly enthusiastic individual to not only lead the Club’s coaching program but also to engage with community and key stakeholders in the Claremont Football Club’s metropolitan and country areas.

The role forms an integral part of the Football Department and works closely with the assistant coaches, sports science team, academy staff and other support staff and volunteers.

Key Criteria

The successful applicant must demonstrate:

  • Clear and compelling communication skills
  • A strong sense of values and culture
  • An understanding of contemporary game strategies and training programs
  • The ability to engage with community and key stakeholders

The term of the initial appointment, remuneration and benefits will be negotiated with the successful applicant and will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
