Round 9 Preview: Claremont V Subiaco
Claremont and Subiaco enter this weekend’s clash at the Show Grounds on the back of losses, and will be looking to rebound for different reasons.
The Tigers once again let a three-quarter-time lead slip when they were defeated by South Fremantle last Saturday and have lost their past three games, while Subiaco were humiliated by East Fremantle.
At 2-5, Claremont is in desperate need of a win, and will be looking to inflict consecutive losses on their rivals.
A win for the Tigers would see them one game outside the top five, while Subiaco have not lost consecutive games since rounds 21-22, 2014.
Claremont’s Ian Richardson will be looking to prove his fitness after being a late withdrawal in round eight due to a hamstring injury.
Saturday will also see the Claremont Football Club join forces with the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s (NBCF) Real Men Wear Pink campaign.
During this match, Claremont players will proudly wear a limited edition jumper raising awareness for the Real Men Wear Pink Campaign. Fans and attendees are encouraged to also proudly wear pink, and of course, their Tigers colours for the game.
The day will also be our CFC Family Fun Day, with free entry for children under the age of 16 and a range of kid’s activities available.
The club encourages all members and fans to attend the game and cheer on the mighty Tigers!
Bounce down is 3.10pm, following Reserves at 12.25pm and Colts at 9.55am.
