Round 4 Preview Claremont vs Swan Districts
By Dan Scamozzi
Claremont will be looking to bounce back when it hosts Swan Districts at Steel Blue Oval on Sunday.
In what will be a “home” game for the Tigers, the team will look to rediscover its round-one form and put together a four-quarter performance.
The Tigers suffered a 17-point loss to Perth last Saturday, while Swans escaped with a 52-point thumping to an inaccurate Peel Thunder.
With the Tigers looking to notch their second win and Swans their first, a fierce contest is sure to unfold.
Claremont’s Reserves enjoyed their first official win under new coach Kepler Bradley in round three, and several players will push their case for selection.
Zac Langdon, John Williams and Morgan Davies all played starring roles, while Toby Plant continues to show promising form on the comeback from a serious knee injury and Jack Richardson kicked three goals.
The club encourages all members and fans to make the trip and cheer on the mighty Tigers.
Bounce down is 2.15pm, following Reserves at 11.30am and Colts at 9am.
