LEAGUE
Claremont 148 def. East Perth 0
The Tigers continued their positive start to the season with a strong 148 point victory over East Perth on Sunday. With a focus before the game on getting off to a fast start, the players did not let up rewarding themselves with a 9.4 first quarter.
For the remainder of the game, the players continued to work hard for each other with the team finishing with 10 individual goal scorers. Asha Price, Steph Yanev and Chloe Colgate all booted 4 goals each.
There were a number of other dominant performances across the ground including Adele Arnup, Jasmin Stewart, Allana Dickie and Maddy White with first gamer Amy Smeding showing real positive signs for the future.

RESERVES
Claremont 83 def East Perth 6
The Tigers Reserves depth was tested on the weekend with a number of personnel changes in the lead up to Sundays match.
After a congested first quarter played mostly in the Tigers forward half, senior players were able to re-establish team structures after the quarter time break. A more open forward line then allowed the forwards to kick away in the final three quarters and record a convincing team win.
Important players included Carissa Wright, Kate Shallard, Grace Dempster and Ella Burke. A special mention to Emily Dummer, Amberley Hope and Katelin Cary who all had breakthrough games.
