Claremont face South Fremantle at Fremantle Community Bank Oval in NAIDOC Round on Saturday afternoon, with the Tigers aiming to maintain their great form and record their third consecutive win.

NAIDOC Round celebrates the heritage, achievements and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Claremont and South Fremantle instigated WAFL NAIDOC Round in 2007 when they wore jumpers designed by Aboriginal artist Richard Walley.

A dominant first half helped Claremont record a 20-point win against East Fremantle in Geraldton in round 13, giving the Tigers consecutive wins for the first time this season and catapulting the team into fifth position on the ladder.

Claremont’s Reserves bounced back to form and returned to the top of the ladder after defeating East Fremantle by 36 points at East Fremantle Oval in round 13.

League: Rogers Leads Tigers Past Royals

A best-on-ground performance from robust defender Bailey Rogers was one of the highlights of Claremont’s outstanding 32-point win against East Perth at Leederville Oval in round 12.

A listless performance from Claremont’s Reserves resulted in a 63-poing hiding from East Perth at Leederville Oval in round 12, with the Tigers belted in most parts of the contest in sublime conditions.
