Gameday Technology / Video Co-ordinator

The Claremont Football Club is committed to maximizing the potential of every footballer by providing field leading education and innovation. The CFC Football Program fosters an environment where every footballer can achieve their goals and perform at their best.

The Claremont Football Club is currently seeking a motivated and passionate person to join our team as a Video Co-ordinator for the 2014 season. This will be an official game day role with an additional element of video editing required each week.

 

The VIDEO CO-ORDINATOR will have the following responsibilities:

-          Collecting CFC and opposition vision on game day and distributing to coaching staff

-          Collecting CFC and opposition vision from the West Australian Football Commission Office

-          Collecting of CFC Game Day Statistics

-          Setting up game day box technology before matches

-          Packing up game day technology after game day

-          Using Video Editing Software to cut specified game vision

-          Using Video Editing Software to cut individual game performances

-          Cutting specific vision on request for Coaching Staff or Playing Group

-          Organising cut vision and placing into easy access folders on the CFC Player & Coach Vision HUB

 

The suitable candidate for this role should poses the following:

-          A good understanding of computers and the ability to solve various IT problems

-          A good understanding or experience with Video Editing Software

-          Good Communication Skills

-          The ability to work independently

-          The ability to meet deadlines efficiently

-          A good understanding of WAFL/AFL Football *not essential but would be preferred

-          Willingness to work outside of usual business hours (Sat)

 

The role would be ideal for a Sports Student seeking prac hours and experience in the field

 

Including game days this role would consist of between 4-12hrs of duties per week. The person taking on this role would be asked to complete duties by a deadline which may require them to attend to tasks on weekends away from the club in their own time.

A small honorarium package will be negotiated once the suitable person has been appointed. This would suit a student or person seeking experience in a semi-professional environment as opposed to a person seeking employment.
