Michael Broadbridge To Take Charge

After an extensive search the Claremont Football Club has named Michael Broadbridge as the new head coach after the coaching committee’s recommendation of Broadbridge was fully endorsed at a board meeting today.

“We believe Michael has all the qualities we were looking for in a coach, and he’s the right man to lead us into the future” said Claremont Football Operations Manager Dean Horsington.

“Michael has great WAFL and AFL experience that will be highly beneficial to our current playing list, and help them develop into better footballers”.

 

Broadbridge’s Coaching History

2007-2010            Manager On-Field Development – West Coast Eagles Football Club

2004 – 2006        Assistant Coach – Fremantle Football Club

1999-2004            Senior Assistant and Assistant Coach – Collingwood Football Club

1995 – 1999         WA State U/18 Coach

Other roles included

·         2007- 2009: Coach Mentor Christ Church Grammar School (Part-Time),

·         2010- 2013: Director of Football - Aquinas College (Part-time),

·         2010-2013: WAFC Coaching Ambassador, Coach Mentor and Assistant Coach at Perth Football Club (Part-time)
