Round 22 Preview East Fremantle v Claremont
Round 22 Preview Claremont vs. East Fremantle
By Dan Scamozzi
After having its slim finals chances ended by West Perth in Round 21, Claremont will be looking to put a dent in East Fremantle’s when the teams face each other at ATOM Stadium on Saturday.
The Tigers’ one-point loss to the Falcons was their eighth by less than 10 points for the season in what’s been a disappointing and frustrating 2016.
Beau Maister and Tom Shanahan will be monitored after suffering concussion in the defeat, while Jack Bradshaw will be a likely inclusion after kicking eight goals for Claremont’s Reserves.
Bailey Banfield is another player who performed strongly and will be in the mix to make his debut.
Claremont claimed a 39-point win over the Sharks at the venue back in Round 5 after kicking 19.2 – the most accurate score in WAFL history when a team’s recorded 15 or more scoring shots.
The club encourages fans to make the trip for Claremont’s final away game and cheer on the mighty Tigers!
Bounce down is 2.15pm, following Reserves at 11.30am and Colts at 9am.
